School Information

We have been educating young people in Corvallis, Oregon since 1963. Currently, we serve 440 students with 53 certified and classified staff members.

To create meaningful school experiences, Adams School provides weekly music, art and P.E. classes and programs including art exhibits, the Adams Choir. Pairing with our music, art and P.E. classes, we offer many extracurricular opportunities for students including the school garden club, elementary strings classes, Adams in Motion (AIM), Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB), fifth grade mentor program, after school interest clubs and crossing guards.

Beth Martin, Principal

Ms. Martin started her career in education as a second grade teacher in Texas, where she taught for two years before joining the Corvallis School District as a teacher at Jefferson Elementary School. She has been teaching in Corvallis for 11 years. Ms. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Portland State University.

Ms. Martin focuses on establishing positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
